Modena handmade Tortelli Dolci are prepared with genuine ingredients. Flour, eggs, sugar, milk and butter are mixed and kneaded. The dough is rolled out and cut into small disks 8 cm in diameter. The disks are folded up crescent-like, with a spoonful of jam inside, and finally baked. Modena Tortelli Dolci are stuffed with sour cherry and plump cherry jam, Tortelli Dolci have a delicious Apricot Jam filling with fruit pieces, like the traditional homemade ones.
