Once they said husks had to be picked on the night of June 24 because that night dew was thought to have healing powers…Today, only in and around Modena, green soft husks are still picked at the end of June, immediately infused in glass demijohns placed in the sun and set aside for at least four years.Nocino can be tasted as a digestive but it is also good on icecream.
