Like Ferrara, the Veneto region also has a tradition in bread production. In the 19th century it was considered food for the rich, peasants could only eat bread during holidays: like Christmas, Easter and during the harvest fair; only the land lords could eat bread daily. At the beginning of the 20th century bread becomes more widespread, and each contrada begins to experiment new forms and doughs.
The Grissini with Sesame are the last ring of the chain, started centuries ago, made with passion and desire to create new flavours using only simple ingredients: water, flour, oil and salt.
